This video continues our A Level Mathematics calculus series, focusing on differentiation from first principles. We'll work through an example to find the derivative of the function f(x) = 3x^2 using the definition of a derivative as the limit of f(x+h) - f(x) all over h as h approaches 0. We'll expand f(x+h), substitute it into the derivative formula, simplify the expression by canceling terms, and factor out h to find the final derivative.
