One-to-one support for LSE's Mathematical Methods module, with help understanding the main ideas, keeping up with the work, and preparing confidently for assessments.
Provides a rigorous foundation in calculus, linear algebra and mathematical modelling for quantitatively demanding social science courses. Topics include matrices, vector spaces, eigenvalues, multivariable calculus, constrained optimisation, integration and differential and difference equations.
Our tutoring for MA100 is designed to make the module feel more manageable. Sessions can focus on clarifying lecture material, rebuilding foundations, working through problem sets, proofs, quantitative exercises and exam-style questions, and developing a clearer strategy for revision and assessed work. The aim is to help students understand the module deeply enough to apply the material independently, not just memorise model answers.
