I surprised myself by absolutely loving this course. The professor is SUPERB. He was extremely well prepared for each class, with a crystal clear train of thought allowing him to explain the concepts, but also extremely flexible to adapt to our constant questions. He included everyone and made sure we all understood. Additionally, having problem sets throughout the semester was really helpful, because we got almost real-time feedback on our learning, which was reinforced by doing the problem sets. I can’t say enough good things about this class and its instructor. Outstanding!
Dr. Grigorieff goes through the tough concepts and makes it much easier to understand. I only understand what was taught in the lecture after attending the classes.
The professor explained the complex notions in a very understandable way, and he was always ready to elaborate on topics as well as answer every question. I enjoyed his way of teaching as it was exciting and relevant to real-life examples.
Excellent statistics course. As someone who chose to study politics to escape mathematics, I dreaded this course but the teacher made this an excellent experience. Professor Grigorieff explained all the concepts of STATA in a very clear and concise way, and was incredibly patient with the students.
Excellent teacher, great chap!
I think Alexis is very well prepared for the class and has a genuine passion for teaching.
Alexis was great at accommodating for the varying levels of knowledge in the class. We were able to ask questions and never felt like our answers were dumb which gave us the confidence to keep asking questions. He was very approachable and helpful with answering our questions and creating a positive atmosphere.
Finally, a really good class teacher at LSE!
Engaging, smiley, look forward to his classes. One of the best teachers at LSE.
I think he is extremely good at making the classes intellectually stimulating and engaging, and does an excellent job at providing clarity on difficult subjects.
He makes an effort to involve everyone in class. Alexis also places great emphasis on concepts that are important to our study which is really helpful.
The teacher, his teaching style, explained everything very well - overall a great experience, great teaching. THANK YOU!
A professor that inspired me and made me believe in me
Great teacher, very good at simplifying things so we understand.
He is very good at explaining in simple language which helps us to understand better.
This was one of the best courses I had this semester. We were provided with all the learning material and powerpoint presentations in advance and everything was clearly explained.
