GCSE November Resits

One more sitting. A different outcome.

A resit should not mean repeating the same preparation and hoping for a different result. Axiom's November 2026 GCSE Mathematics Resit Programme is designed for students who need to make meaningful progress in a short period of time: identifying where marks were lost, correcting the underlying weaknesses, and preparing precisely for the examination ahead.

The weeks before a November resit are too valuable for unfocused revision.

We begin with the student's previous performance and determine where improvement is most achievable. Tuition is then concentrated on the concepts, techniques and question types most likely to change the outcome. Every programme is individual. The emphasis, pace and intensity depend on the student's starting point, target grade and time remaining before the examination.

Diagnose

We establish exactly where marks are being lost — from gaps in mathematical understanding to interpretation, accuracy and exam technique.

Rebuild

Weak foundations are addressed properly, so that students can solve unfamiliar questions rather than relying on memorised methods.

Perform

Exam-style questions and past papers are used throughout, with detailed feedback on method, presentation, timing and the efficient collection of marks.

For the resit programme, we have reserved a small number of places with two tutors particularly well suited to intensive GCSE Mathematics preparation.
